He quickly excelled at it and began to draw attention from his performance on the field. As Collins grew older, his growth spurt made him an ideal candidate for football. His agility, coupled with his formidable height and dominant build, made him the go-to wide receiver in his high school football team at Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson.

Transition to College and Professional Football

After making a significant mark in high school football records, Collins was offered a scholarship to play at various Division I colleges. He eventually chose the University of Michigan, aware of the solid reputation the college had for producing NFL-standard players. At Michigan, Collins continued to fine-tune his skills under the tutelage of Coach Jim Harbaugh, becoming one of the Wolverines’ star players.

In early 2021, Collins’ hard work and dedication paid off when he declared for the NFL Draft.
